I have been using methadone in a long-term treatment plan (7+ years) and have developed a rather bad case of hyperhidrosis. Huge quantities of sweat necessitates clothe changes sometimes three times per day and it is now playing havoc with my professional working environment - seriously so. Unfortunately, my prescribing agency here in London UK - whilst being an excellent facility of which any city would be proud of - it cannot offer any real help. I was wondering whether anyone has this problem. Whilst enabling me to live a stable life-style from that of being a chaotic heroin user, I find now, that the methadone which was once a salvation for me has now become, in its own right, (I don't know which word or term to use here) a poison to me.

I read technical papers about the green dragon and some mention that ' ...some people may experience a warm glow'. WARM GLOW ...this is like a mini Chernobyl. I am getting frightened to go out because people just look and stare at me perspiring into handfuls and packets of tissues.

I really do not know what to do and would value any helpful advice. I'm not going to bother rereading this e for mistakes and 'bad-grammar' etc ... if there is any of the above ... forgive. But I'm sure you will get the message that I have got a problem ...another one...
