Hello!!!!
Had a relapse after 2 years on M.M. It was 10 days of hell. I guess I forgot what my addiction was like. I am definitely in the final stages of this dreaded disease, was almost arrested, passed out in my car a few times. I never really got a buzz, I did get a splitting headache, also I spent a few more dollars than I expected.

Well, thank god for my counselor from the program as he started calling my house because of my positive urines. I felt great shame, but I called him back, and unlike past relapses I stopped using and got back on my regular dose. I felt a little bit uncomfortable for a few days, but methadone sure made getting back on track much easier!!!.

Also I was treated like a person who has a problem. My counselor and doctor from the clinic were truly concerned because I was doing well for so long. It made me very grateful that I was still involved in the program. It is just a thought as I am the first to complain about all the rules and regulations that the federal govt. makes us go through to get take homes or guest medication over 100 mg - lets not forget the weekly fee. In 10 days I spent 6 months worth of my weekly fees. In fact I haven't been broke since I went on the program, and just think - it only took 10 days to blow my budget.

Oh well, why am I writing this? To get it off my chest and maybe if someone who is reading this, and maybe they forgot how lousy addiction to dope really is. They might be thinking about getting high you know just once or twice!!! Forget about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just hit yourself in the head with a hammer. It will hurt less. Thank god for methadone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like this site. I am pretty new to computers. Good job Eric!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a nice day

Signed,
Don't try it, you won't like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
